Her work combines rigorous neuroscience with deep training in mindfulness traditions, bringing together the science of the brain and the wisdom of the body.

Her expertise includes brain mapping (qEEG), heart rate variability, and other neurophysiological measurements used to guide people’s journeys of transformation and overall well-being
Gina D’Andrea-Penna is a neuroscientist, writer, and wellness coach who explores the intersection of the brain, mind, and body through the science of resilience.
She earned a B.A. in neuroscience from Dartmouth College and a Ph.D. in neurosciences from UC San Diego, where she investigated how lifestyle factors shape brain dynamics and self-regulation.
To extend her work beyond academia, Gina co-founded Nexus Fitness, where she integrates neuroscience into a holistic approach for improving physical, mental, and cognitive health. In addition to coaching, Gina works with the Health and Human Performance Foundation, researching the effects of mind-body practices on stress regulation, cognitive performance, and overall health. As Stefanie’s assistant in past programs—and currently within the Neuro Wisdom Collective—she supports members in understanding and applying embodied neuroscience, both for their own growth and to better serve others.
Across her roles, Gina is driven by a single aim: helping people reconnect with and embody their authentic selves, so they can contribute to the world in a way only they can.

Yes. That can be a great stage for having more clarity. People who have already built some groundwork, content and programs also benefit from getting science-supported clarity at the source level before building everything outward.
What time are the sessions?
On your application form, you'll have a chance to let us know what time zone you're in and your ideal time to attend. The sessions are currently planned for 1 PM MST - but depending on group needs, we will update that time and/or add an additional group on those days.
Is this the same as your future academy?
No. The future academy will be a much larger and deeper transformational container.
The Neuro Translation Lab is a focused summer intensive designed around one outcome: Helping you articulate your work with greater depth, precision, confidence, and grounded authority for one particular project/piece of content/website page (which can include your overall brand/core offer).
