Neuroscience to Elevate Coaching, Leadership and Human Potential

For Coaches, Leaders, Professionals
Neuroscience is a language to help people recognize how powerful they actually are.
My experience has shown me that once people get a glimpse of the power of their mind and the systems that influence their behavior, they access new forms of energy, motivation and a belief in their ability to learn and grow.
I'm a former researcher and have spent parts of my career measuring electric conductance of the skin (GSR), facial electromyography (EMG), and heart rate. My work has included assessing and analyzing quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG), rhythmic sinus arrhythmia (heart rate variability), and administering neurofeedback, and transcranial magnetic stimulation for clinical treatment as well as for high performance.
My graduate research at New York University and fieldwork at the NYU Phelps lab for neuroscience research, the NYU Institute for Prevention Science and Yeshiva University's Albert Einstein College of Medicine focused on the cross-section of self-directed neuroplasticity, emotion regulation, family emotional climates, and empathy.
My clients include MIT, Google, Stanford University, the FBI, Northwestern University, Alberta Children’s Hospital, the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, as well as therapists, coaches, educational consultants, district superintendents, CEOs, yoga instructors, osteopaths, and many more.
I also currently lead and consult on research for CheckIt Learning, Google, and build brain-boosting performance programs at a neuropsychology clinic, where I administer and develop qEEG (brain map)-informed, evidence-based brain-body optimization trainings to improve attention, eye-motor coordination, brain injury rehabilitation, short term memory, attention, reading challenges (dyslexia), executive functioning, sensory sensitivity, social anxiety; training programs include biofeedback (heart rate variability), neurofeedback, eye training, Safe and Sound Protocol, virtual reality simulations and cognitive exercises.

About me...
I help coaches, educators and other professionals use neuroscience to help people find new ways of using their talents, discomforts, failures, and challenges as pathways to growth and evolution.
I have nearly two decades of experience in the field of neuroscience and human potential. My graduate research and fieldwork at the NYU Phelps Lab for Neuroscience Research and the NYU Institute for Prevention Science focused on neuroplasticity, emotion regulation and empathy.
I've worked as a school and family counselor, and in mental health and high-performance centers all over the world, and with clients that include MIT, Google, Stanford University, the FBI, Big Life Journal, 40 Years of Zen, as well as therapists, coaches, educational consultants, CEOs, yoga instructors, osteopaths, and many more.
My unique expertise includes:
- Brain mapping (quantitative EEG) for clients and coaches
- Client Nervous System Audits (checklists for helping you understand your client's brain and nervous system- strengths and opportunities)
- Client Journey Neuro-Maps (frameworks for understanding lack of motivation, stagnation, setbacks, and resilience through neurophysiology)
- Trauma-Informed Education
- Neurocognitive Training for Improved Attention, Clarity and High Performance
- Systems Thinking training and graduate fieldwork at the NYU Institute for Prevention Science: how society, culture and family systems influence our brain functioning and attention
But what matters most isn't my credentials -
It's how this work transforms the lives of
professionals and the people they serve...

"very informative and digestible to pass onto others in our work"
"Thank you Stefanie. I run a charitable Trust that has a focus on assisting people with Depression and Anxiety. I follow your podcasts and have got my partner onto them as well. We both find these so helpful in our line of work (She is a clinical psychologist) and find your content very informative and very digestible to pass onto others in our work. Thank you for what you do." - A. Jackson

"practices that I have learned, embodied and now teach my clients"
"I’ve been following Stefanie and her work for years. I was introduced to her work at a workshop when I was a special ed teacher. I immediately was fascinated and at the time felt called to embody growth mindset myself before trying to teach it to children. I attended many of her weekend incentives and also masterminds. Her podcast and content have great value! Especially if you are in any role of authority and leadership. These are practices that I have learned, embodied and now also teach my clients as an entrepreneur." - S. Streit, Teacher

"life-changing insights"
"Your comments about perseverance gained by applying our strengths to a self-transcendent purpose have informed our practices around how we at Harrigan Solutions develop our employees. Thanks for these life-changing insights." - Bill Harrigan, CEO
Here are a few ways I might be able to help:
As humans, we are not born with self-regulation capacities...
Today- this year- it is more important than ever to get better at regulating our emotions and nervous systems.

Your limited-data-biased brain: how the people around you shape your reality
“We spend our life monitoring our behavior as well as that of others, and our statistical brain constantly draws inferences about what it observes, literally “making up its mind” as it proceeds. Learning who we are is a statistical deduction…
