Ep 5/5:
Five Secrets to
Unleash the Power
of Growth Mindset

Find out the 5 rarely (never?) talked about critical ingredients that MUST be understood and integrated in order to create shifts in mindsets among staff and students. Without these 5 elements, attempts to 'teach growth mindset' will come across as shallow and superficial - and can even lead to resistance and defensiveness, especially with staff, teachers or adult learners.
I talk about two specific kinds of 'neuroplasticity'. If we don't know about the fact that there are two different kinds, we are missing what I feel to be one of the most important and revolutionary ideas in science that we have witnessed in our lifetime. To paraphrase Norman Doidge, neuroplasticity is the most important discovery in the history of modern science - I would also add that an understanding of the difference between these two types is also key.
I also mention diversity in a way you may have never heard before!
This video just briefly touches on the key elements. I will continue to offer more details about each element in the coming months.
After you watch, let me know - which of these 5 keys stood out the most to you?
