“Vision without systems thinking ends up painting lovely pictures of the future with no deep understanding of the forces that must be mastered to move from here to there.”
- Peter Senge, Systems Theorist
Human systems intelligence relates to unique human abilities to engage in collective intelligence and regulate our nervous systems by mastering the mammalian mechanisms of sociality and bonding. This includes the ability to recognize patterns of behavior, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Systems resilience relates to various pillars of network engineering that allow for robustness of systems that can withstand adversity using strategic mechanisms of anticipation, resistance, detection, response and recovery.
We can develop human systems intelligence and resilience by increasing our self-awareness and knowledge of how the neurophysiology of perception, emotional reactions and unconscious processes influence our ability to interact, communicate and co-regulate with others.
As we increase our understanding, we can become more intentional with how we use our unique forms of intelligence, sociality and communication as mechanisms for achieving our highest levels of wellbeing and energy optimization.
"Stefanie has been an invaluable resource both professionally and personally. Her work informed much of my approach to behavior and learning as I began my teaching career, has helped me to personally heal from deep-seated wounds I didn’t know I had, and given me a clearer direction for where I want to go next."

BRAIN MAPPING + NERVOUS SYSTEM AUDIT TRAINING PROGRAM
I'll be holding a webinar later this year for this new program to start in 2025: this will be a group program, with the option for 1-on-1 sessions with me. You'll get your own personalized brain map and nervous system audit to see how your brain is functioning, and then apply this to your clients (with the option to offer brain maps to others)
"I’ve been following Stefanie and her work for years. I was introduced to her work at a workshop when I was a special ed teacher. I immediately was fascinated and at the time felt called to embody growth mindset myself before trying to teach it to children. I attended many of her weekend incentives and also masterminds. Her podcast and content have great value! Especially if you are in any role of authority and leadership. These are practices that I have learned, embodied and now also teach my clients as an entrepreneur." - S.S.

“I can't thank you enough for the mini-books. Your podcast is amazing and helps me so much in my counseling practice - as well as in my own life and relationships. I'm 72, and an almost-new clinical mental health counselor, and, while my grad studies were good, even my limited understanding of neuroscience allows me to help my clients understand that change is possible, and they're not irreparably damaged by their traumas. Thank you.”

"I have attended several of Stefanie’s workshops ranging from large group presentations to small group intensives. I keep coming back because Stefanie is one of the most engaging thinkers I have met.
In her work, she is making connections that few if any others are between subjects as diverse as myth and neuroscience, trauma and smartphones, and maybe most importantly, growth mindset and social justice.
In a world where most people who are using the growth mindset are actually peddling a rebranded version of the “bootstrap mentality” and where activists are dismissing it as a result, Stefanie does the important work of calling out the misappropriation of growth mindset, properly contextualizing it in a way that fully incorporates environment and safety, and reframing it in a way that fills it once again with hope."
