Growth mindset can be applied to more aspects of life than we may currently realize.
Many people are familiar with growth mindset as a way of thinking that can help us improve certain skills and talents.
What some people don't realize is how growth mindset is a central pillar to resilient, life-enhancing relationships.
Why?
Because relationships hold our deepest triggers of insecurity.
These triggers are Nervous System Gateways to updating our bran-body algorithms and evolving beyond what our past would predict. These triggers help us understand ourselves to levels we may not get to on our own.
No matter what our past has been, the human mind-brain-body IS capable of updating WHAT triggers it and HOW it responds to those triggers. It's about a connecting of subcortical and cortical systems that move us out of patterns from our past.
In fact, even people who display features and behaviors of insecure attachment can become ‘earned secures’.
