Embrace the discomfort that comes with change

Any time you are creating CHANGE... Any time you are doing something that is not the way you have done it before, it means that you are trying to change the future, and not repeat the past. This requires new resources, algorithms, blood flow, and different kinds of electrochemical activity.
 
This process will always feel a bit uncomfortable and feel like effort.
It is the opposite of ease.
 
And the brain-body system, which is wired for efficiency, tends to lead us to gravitate towards familiar patterns.
 
Changing our behaviors and patterns to align more with what feels healthy and LIFE-ENHANCING isn’t easy.
But with growth mindset, we understand that effort is part of the process, that talents, skills, and behavior patterns are dynamic and changeable. We also acknowledge that there's going to be some feelings of unfamiliarity and unease.
 
By embracing the discomfort that comes with change, we pave the way for the building of new neural pathways and behaviors that can improve our lives and help us tap into the version of ourselves we know we’re capable of.

Excited to introduce you to one of my new Neuro-Coach clients, Lisa Low!

 

 

Lisa Low (MSc Psychology, MEd Content & Integrated Learning) has extensive experience as a school principal, teacher trainer and educational consultant, with specializations in Specific Learning Disorders (Dyslexia), Neurodiversity and Inclusion, Team Around the Child Approach, Emotionally Based School Absence, and Emotion Coaching.

 

We will be integrating neuroscience more fully into her programming and services. This is something that brings me great joy - to be able to help people who are helping others, and the next generation, to expand into their HIGHEST potential.  I am honored to be working in partnership with Lisa.

 

Neuro-Coach Alumni offering brain mapping services to their clients!

 

Another exciting update is that one of my Neuro-Coach graduates - husband and wife team Ryan and Heidi Sawyer of Integrated High Performance Coaching - will soon be offering personalized brain mapping through my services!  This is going to help them give clients some concrete data about various challenges they may be having before entering their coaching program. By looking at various systems in the brain that may by over- or under-active, it will give them insights into how to best approach each client as well as map their progress.  This brain mapping service is currently only available to graduates of the Neuro Coach program.

 

 

A few spots have been filled for this Neuro-Coach program.  This is an exclusive opportunity to work 1-on-1 with me to help you become more ‘fluent’ in neuroscience so you can attract more clients and enhance your position as an authority.

Through this program, we will build out three key pillars through Client Nervous System Mapping, specialized science-based avatars, and other systems to help you stand out among your competitors and diversify your client base with the power of neuroscience.

Participants of this program will also become a Neuro-Coach Alumni and be featured on my website and other channels, as well as have an exclusive opportunity to get personalized brain maps for themselves and clients to use as pre- and post-assessments and marketing material.
