Mindset Neuroscience Podcast Season 4!
Season 4 starts January 2024. The focus will be on Healing, Resilience, Purpose and Transcendence. Stay tuned!
The first episode is a return to Mindset - and the role it plays on resilience and ability to cope with stressors. I review extensive research on ‘lay theory’ and ‘wise interventions’.. research that shows the power of focusing on mindset in order to create lasting, significant change. One area this research has looked at is in cyber bullying and teen anxiety and depression. The interventions used have had remarkable results in improving mental health for both victims and perpetrators of cyber bullying and online aggression (victims often become perpetrators themselves). They have also seen strong positive effects on teen anxiety and depression.
Episode 2 will be centered on Purpose (I will be discussing this from angles that may surprise you). I believe lack of purpose is one of the most critical and damaging aspects of human society as it stands today. Without purpose, people are drawn to seek social validation - in whatever form possible. This moves them a way from a steady center of direction forward, as it relies on the volatility of human opinion and reaction. I will be covering this topic from a Systems Theory perspective, and integrating various key players from history as well as contemporary frameworks.

Upcoming workshops!
Tuesday January 9, 2024 at 7:30 PM PST
Discover the specific neuromechanics behind why some conversations have the power to heal relationships and deepen our understanding while others seem to cause pain and heartache. Find out how our minds can distort our words, and learn how we can align how we express ourselves with our highest intentions.
Tuesday February 6, 2024 at 7:30 PM PST
What are emotions? Are they different than feelings? How can we use emotions to help us evolve, love, heal and grow? This workshop will go into the neuromechanics of what is really occurring beneath the surface of our emotions - the primal architecture, sequences and systems that lead us to feel how we feel.
Workshops are $55, participants get recordings, notes and handouts after the seminar.
You can also register for the remaining 6 seminars and get a 15% discount
“December’s seminar was mind blowing for me. I learned so much. I was able to map a range of behaviours against your learning matrix from today and suddenly many things fell into place in terms of understanding my own behaviour and that of my clients. I am very grateful for the learning that you elicit.”
“I found her November workshop on emotional regulation very valuable and loved the engagement and interactivity- people asked questions for a long time after the end of the workshop and Stefanie answered everyone. People are attending from around the world. These workshops are as special as I thought they would be. Just Stefanie’s mapping of arousal/ valence provided a very useful map to work with in understanding my own response and those of the people I work with.”
