“The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence.
When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers.”
-Thich Nhat Hanh
The quality of presence... how do the micro-signals and rhythms of being present affect us and others? The idea of this ties to attunement and synchrony. I think that technology can make it very difficult for us to be present. The more possibilities of distractions, the harder it is to synchronize and attune to one person's signals and rhythms. We can also be present with a task, in nature, with ourselves, with our breath. Our mind is constantly seeking to solve problems. Presence moves our mind into a new realm.. the realm of witnessing and understanding - without judgment, and with an expansive space of awareness. Presence is a key to resilience because it brings us to our highest level of current-moment feedback-responsiveness. It's an important topic, and I'll cover more soon.

I'm trying to add some variety to my content (and to the heavy emphasis I have write now with words on screens for book-writing), so here's a quick video I recorded with some thoughts and themes I'm exploring for the book and future content.
