Growth mindset is not all about positivity and cheerleading.
Some people think that the idea of adopting a new mindset means we should accept our situation, even if it is undesirable, and simply power through with our mind, rather than try to change it.
One of the great powers of a growth mindset is that it can enhance or abilities in how we react to stress, which then has ripple effects into new ideas for solving problems and changing trajectories.
Adopting a growth mindset leads us to accept our truest, most innate abilities to figure things out in new ways, and to not accept a constant repetition of patterns that deplete us or defeat us.
