We are vibrational beings.
At every moment, we are transmitting frequencies and vibrations that reflect our internal state, whether we realize it or not.
You've felt this. The teacher who walks into a classroom and the room settles. The leader who sits down at a tense table and watches the conversation find its footing. Something arrives before their words do.
When you regulate yourself before entering a room, you are calibrating the signal you broadcast into a collective field.
When you hold steady presence with a dysregulated person.. not matching their activation but not withdrawing from it… you function as a regulatory node in a system temporarily out of coherence.
Your state (and your intentionality to having more agency over your state) is an active biological contribution.
When you help the people you serve name increase their sense of agency over their emotional states with more precision, you are increasing the regulatory intelligence of every system they belong to. Their team. Their family. Their organization. Their community.
This is what the super-regulator* approach invites us to explore.
Not someone who is always calm.
Not someone who has perfected their practices.
Someone who understands that their nervous system is a contribution to a collective field.. and who tends it with intention.
Because there is a threshold between knowing this and being it.
And what lives on the other side is a different quality of presence entirely.
The world needs more people who understand the power of nervous system regulation for accessing human brilliance, and who are willing to contribute that intentionality to the collective, reactive field.
Keep doing the work. For yourself, and for every space you walk into.
Your nervous system isn't just yours.
It never was.

PS: Module 8 of Teach the Nervous System names what you've likely always sensed in your bones: rooms carry feeling, organizations develop nervous systems, cultures are collective regulation patterns made habitual over time. The science is what makes it undeniable. It lives inside Teach the Nervous System, the full nine-module framework. Grab it here →
PPS: for those of you who haven’t heard me talk about Super-Regulators yet, here’s a quick overview:
A Super-Regulator™ is a name and framework I created over a decade ago to describe someone who has learned the skills of:
- Self-Regulation: they use their mind and body to access a sense of inner well-being, growth and evolution
- Co-Regulation: they use relationships to access a sense of well-being, growth and evolution
- Super-Regulation: they serve as a unique member of the species who helps other humans learn to self-regulate, co-regulate and access a higher awareness of their own possibility for well-being, growth and evolution
I will likely hold another Super Regulators Neuro Academy this fall (group coaching plus personalized feedback)! Stay tuned!
