We are vibrational beings.
At every moment, we are transmitting frequencies and vibrations that reflect our internal state, whether we realize it or not.
You've likely felt this. The teacher who walks into a classroom and the room settles. A leader who sits down at a tense table and the conversation shifts into something with more possibility. Something seems to happen before their words actually come out.
When you regulate yourself before entering a room, you are calibrating the signal you broadcast into a collective field.
When you hold steady presence with a dysregulated person.. not matching their activation but not withdrawing from it… you function as a regulatory node in a system temporarily out of alignment
Your state (and your intentionality to having more agency over your state) is an active biological contribution.
When you help the people you serve increase their sense of agency over their internal states, you are increasing the regulatory intelligence of every system they belong to. Their team, family, relationships, community.
This is what the super-regulator* approach invites us to explore.
It goes beyond trying to be calm, or have the perfect practice, formula or tool.
It's someone who understands that their nervous system is a contribution to a collective field.. and who tends to it with intention.
Because there is a difference between knowing this and truly embodying it.
It's about a different quality of presence - what I like to call 'vibrational availability'.
The world needs more people who understand the power of nervous system regulation for accessing human brilliance, and who are willing to contribute that intentionality to the collective, reactive field.
Keep doing the work. For yourself, and for every space you walk into.
Your nervous system isn't just yours.
It never was.
Wishing you wonderful awareness of your vibrational contributions to this world….
Stef
PS: Module 8 of Teach the Nervous System names what you might have always sensed in your body, your bones and viscera... rooms carry feeling, organizations develop nervous systems, cultures are collective regulation patterns that create default reactions over time.
The science of all this is inside Teach the Nervous System, the full nine-module framework. Grab it here →
PPS: for those of you who haven’t heard me talk about Super-Regulators yet, here’s a quick overview:
A Super-Regulator™ is a name and framework I created over a decade ago to describe someone who has learned the skills of:
- Self-Regulation: they use their mind and body to access a sense of inner well-being, growth and evolution
- Co-Regulation: they use relationships to access a sense of well-being, growth and evolution
- Super-Regulation: they serve as a unique member of the species who helps other humans learn to self-regulate, co-regulate and access a higher awareness of their own possibility for well-being, growth and evolution
I am planning on holding another Super Regulators Neuro Academy this fall (live group coaching plus personalized feedback)! Stay tuned! It will be a 6-week academy, starting mid-October.
If you'd like to make sure you get the registration when it opens, reply to this email!
Thank you!
