There are billions of people living and interacting and thinking in this world.
And I sometimes think about how special it is for someone to devote even part of their thinking and their time to the question:
How can I help another human being feel better, and live their life a little better?
If you are reading this, it means that you likely are one of those people.
Something in you sparked you to open this message, to learn about ideas for how we heal, grow, adapt, reconnect with ourselves.
To care enough to keep learning about how your own presence might affect someone else's experience.
If you are here, I want to express gratitude.. l
And I hope you know that this is a contribution.
A nervous system contribution. To the Collective Field of frequencies we are all interacting with.
Because if there’s 2 particular things I know from studying brain and nervous systems for this long.. it’s that
- we are Vibrational Beings. We are transmitting and detecting frequencies that influence and are influenced by others’ ‘vibrational transmissions’ - whether we are conscious of it or not.
- our nervous systems are never operating in isolation.
We are constantly exchanging information with each other through signals that can be incredibly small: shifts in facial muscles, voice frequency, breathing, movement.
Our brain-body systems are detecting so much more than the words that are being spoken.
Which means that what you transmit into a room matters.
The work and learning you have done to become a little more aware of your own signals and vibrations matters.
The moment you notice yourself becoming reactive..
.. and create just enough space to become curious again matters.
The way another person experiences themselves in your presence matters.
Sometimes we will never know what those moments influenced .
Someone may simply feel that they can breathe a little easier around you.
They might feel like they can reach their own intelligence more clearly in your presence.
It can be hard to measure all of these effects.
But our internal state and intentions show up in tiny signals other people are continually detecting.
And they become part of a living, vibrational environment we are all responding to and being affected by.
This is what I mean when I say: you are the rare place.
The people who spend even some of their thinking and time on this earth learning how to become a better place for another human being to encounter….
.. Is something that deserves appreciation and a pause to honor how valuable and special it is
And the beautiful thing is that your contribution doesn't end with the person in front of you.
Something they experience with you may become part of what they bring into their next conversation, their family, their work, the people they haven't even met yet.
Your nervous system is part of the collective field.
So today, I want to say thank you for caring about what you contribute to it.*
I am deeply grateful that there are people like you in this world.
with Love,
Stefanie
